Hi, I’m Hannah, the founder of Bates Pilates.

I launched my personal training business, BatesFit, in 2021, specialising in women’s strength training and health. 

Through this, I’ve helped clients build confidence, improve strength, and feel more comfortable in their bodies.

After a couple of years of personal training, I wanted to expand into something that still focused on strength, but in a more accessible and low-impact way. In 2024, I became a qualified Level 3 Pilates Instructor, allowing me to bring a new dimension to the way I support my clients.

I was drawn to Pilates because of its unique style of movement. It challenges the body differently to traditional strength training—focusing on control, endurance, flexibility, and alignment, rather than high impact or heavy lifting. It’s a great option for those returning to exercise, managing injuries, or looking to complement their existing training.

In April 2024, I launched Bates Pilates, and since then I’ve been building a supportive and welcoming community through my classes.
